NO INTERNET? NO PROBLEM.
The database on the machine is the source of the truth, not a copy of something in a data center. Nothing in a sale touches a network, so an outage at the exchange is a non-event at the till.
The sale never waits on a server
Scan, tender and print with cable unplugged. There is no reqyuest to time out.
Money is exact, never floating point
Every amount is stored in integer minor units, cents and whole lira, so conversion abd VAT round the way you expect, every time.
Ready for sync, not dependent on it
Every row already carries a UUID, tenant, timestamp and soft-delete, so the day you want the cloud there is no painful migration.
